We are now offering separate grips for Alpha pens. Montblanc and Fountain pen grips are 100% interchangeable so now you can change your mind and your style.

These days I normally carry a fountain pen, but sometimes I just don't want to deal with it and choose the original Montblanc instead. You can fly with a fountain pen but you have to make sure you store it tip up. An easier option (one that I normally choose) is to swap in a Montblanc grip and refill when I'm traveling.

I also prefer my grip to be a bit heavier so my personal pens (see photos) have matching copper or brass screws and copper or brass grips.

Montblanc Grips: No refill included! You'll need to purchase your own directly from Montblanc. They have decent pricing and you can be sure you are getting the real thing. DO NOT PURCHASE the "LeGrand" refills, they are too grand and will not fit!

Fountain Pen Grips: One nib is included with each grip. Don't forget to order ink! The Alpha will only accept Pelikan Edelstein cartridges, other cartridges are too large in diameter, as are converters. Don't worry though, Pelikan offers a host of award winning inks in this format. You can also refill the Edelstein cartridges with whatever ink you want.
